INTEGRAL MANAGEMENT

6 steps for developing a complete process that enables quality production

At Pérez Cerdá, we establish six fundamental steps for developing a complete process that allows for quality production.

FIRST CONTACT

We approach our work through comprehensive management, from the design and engineering of the part to the delivery of the material, which takes place at the location and under the conditions determined by the client.
Only by following this overall approach can we become the specialized partners our clients need.

Likewise, with this philosophy, we also serve those clients who rely on us on a part-time basis.

The involvement is always total.

WORK WITH THE CLIENT

We place special emphasis on pre-production work to ensure a completely satisfactory final result.

We offer services such as pre-product research, production analysis, and injection testing that help you make decisions about the final product to be manufactured.

DIE MAKING

We take special care with our tooling, as it is one of the key elements in our production process. If the client requests, we can work with their own molds, but we can also handle the manufacturing through our regular partners.

In addition, we safeguard the molds, which are stored in a dedicated warehouse with significant security measures, thus preventing accidental leaks or accidents.

Tooling is the process of designing and manufacturing molds used in plastic and metal production processes. The mold is an essential tool in the molding process, as it shapes the final product. Tooling involves creating designs and constructing molds using various techniques and materials. The tooling process can include different manufacturing techniques, such as machining, milling, electrical discharge machining, and mold construction using 3D printing. In addition to mold manufacturing, tooling also includes mold repair and maintenance. Tooling is a key step in industrial production, as molds are essential for producing products accurately and in large quantities.

INJECTION

We work with all materials, technologies, finishes, and sizes for all sectors thanks to a 32,000 m² production facility and a technology park with 60 injection molding machines, with capacities ranging from 20 to 1,700 tons.
Our experience and specialized capacity allow us to tackle very different projects today, united by the common denominator of injection molding.

The injection molding process is very versatile and is used to manufacture a wide variety of products, from toys and household appliances to automotive parts and electronics. It is one of the most common manufacturing processes due to its high efficiency, precision, and low cost.

MANIPULATED

We offer our customers the possibility of personalizing their product.

We offer ultrasound, heat transfer, screen printing, and pad printing. This allows clients to create their own final designs, including text and images.
We also perform any handling the company may require before final delivery.

The plastics processing process refers to the transformation of plastic materials into final parts. This includes a variety of processes, such as cutting, machining, drilling, milling, welding, heat-sealing, and others. These processes are used to modify or improve the properties of the material and to shape the final product.

Cutting is one of the most common techniques used in the plastics processing process. It is used to cut plastic parts to the desired size. Machining is another commonly used technique, which involves removing material through the use of cutting tools, such as milling machines and lathes. Drilling and milling are used to make holes and slots in plastic parts. Welding and soldering are techniques used to join two or more plastic parts.

In short, the plastics handling process is an important stage in industrial production, as it helps shape and improve the properties of the material to suit the specific needs of the final product.

LOGISTICS

We offer fully personalized delivery thanks to our unique location in the center of the Mediterranean, just 350 km from Madrid and Barcelona.

Our company is also located 150 km from the port of Valencia and less than 50 km from Alicante International Airport, giving us quick and easy access to all of Europe.

Plastics logistics refers to the handling and movement of plastic materials from their point of origin to their final destination. This includes the planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to the transportation, storage, handling, and distribution of plastic materials.

Plastics logistics planning involves determining the transportation, storage, and distribution requirements for plastic materials. Coordination includes establishing agreements with suppliers and carriers to ensure that plastic materials are delivered at the right time and place. Execution includes the transportation and storage of plastic materials, as well as their distribution to end customers.

In short, plastics logistics is an important step in industrial production as it helps ensure that plastic materials are available at the right place and time for processing and manufacturing into final products. Plastics logistics also helps reduce costs and increase efficiency in the supply chain.

PRODUCTION

The technological challenge

All materials, technologies, finishes, and sizes for all sectors, thanks to a 32,000 m2 production facility and a technology park with 60 injection machines, with capacities ranging from 20 to 1,700 tons.

Our experience and capacity for specialization allow us today to tackle very different jobs united by the common denominator of injection:

1/ Materials: We work with both polypropylenes and polyethylenes for domestic consumption and the technical materials required by contemporary industry: polyamides, ABS, polycarbonates, etc.

2/ Technologies: we carry out extrusion, blow molding, single injection, bi-injection, IML, etc.

3/ Formats: To serve most customers and sectors, we produce pieces of all sizes, from 1 g to 10 kg.

4/ Sectors: We cover a wide range of sectors, including furniture, home accessories, hospitality accessories, the toy industry, agriculture, heavy machinery, automotive, construction, office accessories, and more.

PRE-PRODUCTION WORK

To achieve a satisfactory final result, we carry out preliminary work consisting of:

PREVIOUS STUDY

Preliminary engineering studies in which parts are developed to adapt them to the client’s needs, which may in many cases include the development of prototypes to achieve a perfect mass-produced model.

PRODUCTIVE ANALYSIS

Production analysis for decision-making regarding materials, performance, profitability, and colors.

INJECTION TEST

If the injected part requires it, we perform prior injection tests to check specific aspects such as tolerances and resistance.
